on Tybee Island this Spring.  

With average temperatures in the upper 70's and gardens in bloom, Spring is a wonderful time of year to schedule a getaway to Tybee Island. There are many fun and exciting events planned this Spring. The only problem you will have is deciding which one (or maybe more) is right for you!

You will find many families enjoying their spring break on Tybee soaking up the sun and fun on our sandy beaches or exploring the great historic sites in the area. Runners will have several events to choose from including the Paint Tybee Pink 5K/10K run on Saturday, May 5th.  In fact, that weekend is full of exciting choices to entertain you and your family including the Sand Arts Festival on Friday and the multi-day Savannah Tall Ships Challenge from May 3rd - 7th. The Tall Ships Challenge will bring some of the most majestic Tall Ships the world has to offer to the area. On Monday, May 7th you can even enjoy viewing the Parade of Sail from the North side beach on Tybee Island.
