With average temperatures in the 70's and gardens already in bloom, Spring is a wonderful time of year to schedule a getaway to Tybee Island. There are many fun and exciting events planned from March - May. The only problem you will have is deciding which one (or maybe more) is right for you! 
 
Two chances to enjoy a bit of Ireland! Get out your green and come to the 10th Annual Irish Heritage Parade which will take place this Saturday, March 10th at 3pm on Tybee. The following weekend will be one of the largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the country in Historic Savannah. Shuttles will be available to/from Savannah on both Friday and on parade day, March 17th, so enjoy the festival and then head back to Tybee and wind down at the beach. 

In late March and early April many families will be enjoying their spring break on Tybee soaking up the sun and fun on our sandy beaches or exploring the great historic sites in the area. For the wine connoisseurs you have to come to our signature event, the Tybee Wine Festival, which will be held April 12th - 15th. The multi-day festival offers a variety of events including a Grand Tasting on the grounds of the historic Tybee Lighthouse that Saturday.
