Correction

   No restaurant at San Marco and Pine

San Marco and Pine Street

 The Report stands corrected, regarding the item on San Marco Avenue properties in today's Report.

   Realtor Irene Arriola says the property at San Marco Avenue and Pine Street (pictured) is not planned as a restaurant, and Planning and building Director Mark Knight confirmed a 70-seat restaurant specifically oriented for the deaf is further north along San Marco, in the long-vacant former Yahalla and Villa Santa Monica restaurants property.

   The property at Pine Street is planned for retail use.

   Residents in the Abbott Tract would be concerned about neighborhood parking with a restaurant location at San Marco and Pine.
