Overheard: "I hardly recognize this practice from ten years ago. The labor and employment practice has shifted demonstrably in the last decade." How so? And are more changes on the way?

Tonight LIVE at 7:00 p.m. on WFMZ-TV 69, The American Law Journal addresses"'Hot Topics' in the Workplace." Attorney Host Christopher Naughton welcomes plaintiff's attorney George Kounoupis of Hahalis & Kounoupis and defense counsel Anthony Haller of Blank Rome.  Joining the panel is James Ottavio Castagnera from Rider University's Law and Justice program and EEOC Administrative Judge Monique Roberts from the New York District Office. The panel will address a wide array of issues from retaliation and discrimination to workplace privacy and new ADA amendments.

"There are many new developments," says Judge Roberts, "but what we are seeing more of are the family caregiver discrimination cases. Also, curiously, we are seeing more sexual harassment of young people entering the workforce for the first time."

The American Law Journal broadcasts every Monday night at 7:00 p.m. on WFMZ-TV 69 in the tri-state area and will be available online on the program's new website in December.  Next week: "A Failure to Warn: Has the Supreme Court Upped Protection of Consumer Lawsuits?"
