Basketball Concessions Help
We need parents to sign up to help with concessions at each home basketball game. Parents don't have to have
a student on Student Council to help. The games are October 26, November 1, November 8, November 11 and December 2, and volunteers are needed from 5-8 (or anytime between).
We also need volunteers to donate food to sell, including hotdogs in a crockpot, candy, soda, popped popcorn, etc. Please contact Ms. Filtness at laura.filtness@cityschools.net for more information or to volunteer/donate.
Student Council Parent Meeting
There will be a parent meeting for parents of Student Council representatives on Thursday, October 21 at 3:15. This meeting was originally scheduled for the 19th. If you are unable to attend the meeting but still want to help with Student Council this year, please e-mail Ms. Filtness.
We Are Renaming Bubbles!
We are renaming Bubbles, our beloved mascot. From now until October 22, all students can create a new name for our mascot and turn it in to Ms. Filtness. On October 26, the Student Council will choose the Top 10 or Top 20 depending on the number of entries. The top names will be placed on Survey Monkey where students can pick his/her favorites. All voting will be done online.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Grace Apigian and Madeline Seymour for being named Student Council Historians and to Michael Scharf for being named Website Manager!
Please Collect Pull Tabs!
Please remember to collect and turn in pull tabs to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Student Council representatives will turn in the tabs from his/her classes on meeting days.
