SMART CARDS ARE HERE!
Our 2010-2011 Smart Cards are here and we will be kicking off our ONE AND ONLY active fundraiser during registration on July 30! The earnings provide support for teachers and wonderful classroom opportunities for students. Like previous years, Smart Cards are $12, and the school will keep $7 for each card sold. Each student is encouraged to sell at least 10 cards. This year's prize program is fabulous and students may earn up to nine prizes. The students have lots of fun with this fundraiser. They loved seeing Dr. Clark in the dunk tank last year!
This year's card has over 110 multiple-use coupons and the program still offers cards from several counties. There are 10 one time 'clip-and-use' coupons from some of our favorites: Best Buy, Chili's, Sam's Club, and Shoe Carnival to name just a few.
Smart Card collections will begin on the first day of school, Monday, August 9, and will continue every other day for two weeks. With the new start of the school year, our students no longer have a three week advantage over other schools. Please encourage your children to begin a list of prospective donors and to ask for verbal pledges.
Don't Forget! If you haven't used last year's Smart Card coupons, please note that they expire July 31, 2010.
Interested in volunteering to help with Smart Cards? We need lots of help on the mornings of turn-in days. If you would like to help, please contact either Sarah Woods (Smart Card Chair), or Shannon Bush (Smart Card Assistant Chair). |
| VOLUNTEERS NEEDED | I know, I know, none of us can wait for the Volunteer Fair or to start counting Smart Card money. Well, this year you are in luck because you don't have to wait. We are in immediate need of:
- parents willing to bring in breakfast items for a teacher's training day on August 3.
- last year's kindergarten parents who are willing to help with the Boo Hoo/Yahoo Breakfast
Interested in gardening, landscaping, recycling, outdoors? Then volunteering on the Green Team would be perfect for you! Contact
None of these right for you? Don't worry, check out our volunteer page, see what interests you, and contact Amy Massengill, our volunteer coordinator. She will set you up with your perfect match. |
| IT ALL ADDS UP |
You know the drill. Even if it is just worth 5 cents - we want it! It all adds up as our Fundraising Committee has proven time and time again.

Don't forget we can earn money every time you go shopping!
