Toyota Extends Drain Intervals
In a statement released by Toyota Motor Corporation on January 8, 2010 (attached below):
- Toyota Motor Corporation approved to move all 0W-20 certified vehicles to a 10,000 mile/ 1 year oil change interval immediately.
- Toyota also reinforces again --> If 0W-20 is not available, 5W-20 may be be used once, but it MUST be changed to 0W-20 at the next oil change.
This information will help dealerships communicate the benefit of upgrading to 0W-20. The increased cost for 0W-20 will now be off-set by the decrease in oil change frequency. Please share the flyer below with current and potential customers.
