Dallas Arboretum Honors
I was honored to have my work selected by the Dallas Arboretum for their Garden Gallery promotions this month. My painting, Arboretum Dancers, was featured on behalf of the prestigious Garden Gallery juried art show at the historic DeGolyer House on the grounds. If you are visiting the gardens during the Dallas Blooms Festival, stop by the DeGolyer House to see four of my original paintings on display there. Don't forget to take a peek at the famous library in this grand old residence, it's straight out of a bookworm's fondest dreams!

A Texas-Sized Thank You
Thanks to everyone who navigated the Texas Hill Country lanes and byways to attend my solo show, "Gardens of Fredericksburg,", on March 5 at the Good Art Company Gallery. We had a great turnout and the local newspaper memorialized me on their front page the next day (I know what you're thinking, it must have been a slow news week!). If you got sidetracked and couldn't make it out for the Friday night reception, don't let that stop you from dropping in on Jill and friends at The Good Art Company Gallery. I'm very excited to report that I will be painting in the garden at Art and Frames by Wood Gallery on Coronado Island, CA, during the Coronado Flower Show April 17. It will be a great day in the sun with Jill and Glenn and Trisha from the gallery which is located right in the heart of downtown on Orange Ave.
There are few places on earth more mezmerizing for flower buffs than Coronado Island, so come on out and bring your camera and join us!

AnnieBee Visits
Her Fav StoreStudio Director and Events Coordinator AnnieBee joined us for the gala art show in Fredericksburg last week. She arrived with her Dad fashionably late and immediately became the center of attention.
She was rewarded for all her hard work with a trip to her fav store, Dogologie. Here she reminds us that one should always peruse potential purchases carefully to assess how new items will fit into the current collection.
