This Great Blue Heron lives on ocean-front property off the coast of New Hampshire. I painted him from a photo taken last week by my talented friend Sharon, a photographer who captures images like this one simply by traveling a mile or two from her front door.
 
Great Blue will be submitted for a national juried show in August. If I cross my fingers and hold my beak just right, maybe it will be accepted!

Meet the Artist Night
