Artscape at the Dallas Arboretum |

This oil painting, Evensong, 16X20, was inspired by a visit to another beautiful garden, Balboa Park in San Diego. I've been busy producing new landscapes based on my photography from the Dallas Arboretum and Balboa Park for the past few months and I think I've found my calling! These paintings combine a love of colorful flowers with the shadows and lights of the outdoors. Two of my paintings were selected for the prestigious Mayflower Paintout Juried Art Show. You can see them in the DeGolyer House on the Dallas Arboretum grounds throughout the month of September.
