ArticlNew Home Improvement Money Available
The City of Saint Paul has just approved new home improvement dollars for the Frogtown Neighborhoods. Our Frogtown Facelift program, and the Facelift Too program, help neighbors with all kinds of home improvements, and some of these loans are now available as 1/2 grants, 1/2 deferred-to-sale loans - which means no payments until you sell your home. These loans are only available for owners living in their homes, but we hope to have new help for improving rental properities in the area very soon as well.
If you or someone you know is interested in more information, please contact Patty Lammers of our staff at 651-789-7485.

The site of the Hmong Funeral Home at the corner of Dale and Lafond is the subject of a community planning series being sponsored by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation's (LISC) Corridor Housing Initiative. The hope is to provide some ideas on what new development would be successful for our neighborhood on this site, and to get ideas from the community about what they would prefer in part of our area.
Two additional planning sessions are scheduled, and drawings and related information are scheduled to be posted at http://www.housinginitiative.org.
