- Cleaning products
- Pesticide residue
- Cows that are injected with hormones
Dairy cows and steers are injected with steroid hormones that increase the cow's production of milk and allow the steer to grow at a more rapid rate coming to market fatter, faster and much less expensively. Buy organic, grass fed beef.
Here's just part of the Problem: These estrogen mimics disrupt the balance of not only hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, etc.), but also neurotransmitters (serotonin, dopamine, GABA, etc.)
Here's just part of the Solution: BPA (Bisphenol A) is the estrogen mimic in plastics and is found in water bottles and plastic containers with #3, #6 and #7 stamped on the bottom... do not use them! The following do not contain BPA: #1, #2, #4, #5. It is still best to use glass. If you do use plastic for whatever reason, do not heat in a microwave, allow to set in a hot sun, use in a dishwasher, or freeze.
