Don't forget to book your place - details on our website.

The all new ASSC website and Property pages have gone live!

All members should have received a number of emails about the website preview period, and public launch on Monday 8 October.  Thank you to all those who have sent us praise and appreciation, and those who have identified bugs and areas for improvement - we like both sorts of feedback!

It is important that you ACT NOW if you have not yet done anything about your photos and data!

If you do not upload new (bigger) images, you will find that your pictures on EmbraceScotland look fuzzy and poor quality - not something you or we want!  This is because we have transferred the old, very small images to the new site, but they are displayed in bigger spaces, so they look wrong.  Even if you think you sent us, or uploaded, good big images to the old system they are not what is there now!  Please take a moment to fix this if it applies to you.

Similarly, if any of the data is wrong on the new system, you may be losing out on enquiries and even being shown on relevant search results.  For example, unless you check that your 'Min Capacity' and 'Max capacity' are correct (or at least more then zero!) you will not come up if someone searches for a cottage for a specific number of people.  All your details need to be checked, and the correct information entered - and only you can do this!

STA Windfarm Seminar - Presentations now available for download

The Scottish Tourism AllianceThere are over 130 wind farms now in operation in Scotland with a further 130 planned for development. Beyond this there are more than 100 additional wind farms being prepared for planning submission. If the scale of development continues, it will make an 'impression' on the Scottish landscape.  To read more about the results of the wind farm seminar, click here
