A VALENTINE'S HEART STORY
Last month we told you about the hoarding situation in Mojave. Well, we went back and rescued 4 more dogs. Among them was an old man we are calling Mitzvah. His story is below, but watch his video on YouTube to see where our boy came from.

Mitzvah has not had an easy life. He went from one hoarding situation to an even worse situation in the middle of the Mojave Desert. He was one of the last dogs rescued off the property.
Maybe he was overlooked because he was so quiet but Dawg Squad's founder couldn't get him out of her mind and went back to get him.
Mitzvah's right ear is mottled from ignored hematomas and he is blind in his left eye from an untreated cataract. We noticed he was limping and had X rays taken of his back left leg. It's not looking good. Mitzvah has what is known as a synovial tumor and it is inoperable. He must have been in so much pain. Yet Mitzvah is loving and kind and only wants someone to love him and give him a warm bed and some good food.
For VALENTINE'S DAY, don't buy roses that will die, candy that will go to the hips or a dinner out that will be rushed and over priced.
