The April Showers have definitely led to May flowers here in New England. I love this time in the spring: flowering trees, blooming azaleas, early tulips, and almost every shade of green imaginable in the new leaves on shrubs and trees.
Color is the continuing story here, too. Below, I continue to highlight the Color Renovation from Stampin; Up!, with a focus on one of the new color collections that will be premiering on July 1 with the new catalog. (Along with a couple of easy projects for inspiration!)
Remember: the Color Renovation also means that many colors are retiring. So if you want to stock up, now is the time before SU runs out.

The Color Renovation - Chapter 2
Stampin' UP! will be introducing new families of colors as part of their COLOR RENOVATION, which will premier with the new catalog on July 1.
Last time, I highlighted all of the retiring colors. If you LOVE Orchid Opulence, and can't live without Ballet Blue, now is the time to stock up on ink pads, cardstock, and markers. You can check out the list of retiring colors here.

Now, I want to start introducing the new Color Collections to you, starting with the Brights Collection.
New Brights Collection | Like a rainbow, this collection is a mix of happy colors. They're easy to work with, and you'll love how the old favorites and a new sunshine yellow cover all the basic colors without being overly dramatic. I think you'll be reaching for these colors more often than ever before.
Here are two fun project ideas using the new Brights Collection:
A fun little gift/candy bag, using the Circle Circus stamp set, with Real Red, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight cardstock and inks. The bag topper is die cut with the Top Note Bigz Die.

And below is a great card, using the WIth All My Heart Stamp Set (from the Occasions mini), on Regal Rose cardstock, with Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive inks. The card is embossed using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Folder with the Big Shot.
