Greetings!
My, what a soggy spring we've had! I even had dubious honor of having the most water in my basement that the FEMA inspector had personally seen (2 feet!)! Fortunately, it's an unfinished basement, and my worst loss was 2 year old tax returns.... And though I did have to have my furnace rebuilt, it all was repaired in a few days. Someone reminded me that "it takes a village", and in the case of my flooded basement, my village rallied round me, making it more than bearable. And now I have a clean basement, too!!
The good thing about rain (besides creating green grass and lush gardens) is that we don't feel guilty staying inside and pulling out our craft supplies!
As always, you can find a fun project, below, to help spend those rainy afternoons being creative. This week, it is a very pretty clock which you can decorate as you like.
And please note that the SU Occasions Mini Catalog expires on April 30- so if there is anything there that you have had your eye on, now is the time to place that order, because I cannot guarantee that the products will be in the new catalog coming out in July.

A Springtime Clock
Isn't this delightful?! It's made from a decorative plate, a clock kit (that you can purchase at any of the big box craft stores), and the newest colors from Stampin' Up! All it takes is an electric drill with a glass bit, and flowers. This version uses a variety of die cut flowers, (using the Big Shot) and die cut numbers. But you could also use silk flowers and pre-made numbers from the craft or hardware store.

Introducing the Color Renovation!!
Stampin' Up! has spent the last two years conducting extensive research on color:
- studying color trends,
- holding focus groups, and
- analyzing the purchases of their own customers.
The result is a COLOR RENOVATION: A new collection of diverse, but user-friendly colors that will be enticing to new and old crafters alike.
There will be four color families, each with ten colors: Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals. They are made up of 25 continuing SU colors that you know and love, 10 returning InColor favorites, and 5 brand-new Core Colors.
Five new InColors will be introduced every two years, with a new set of 5 introduced every year after 2010. So altogether, there will be 50 great colors to play with!!
I think they are great, and am looking forward to getting my hands on them. All of the new colors will be available with the new catalog that comes out on July 1.
So why am I telling you now? Because this also means that there are THIRTY (count 'em, 30!) current colors that are retiring as of June 30! If you love, love, love Taken with Teal (like I do!) or can't live without Cameo Coral or Lovely Lilac, you have until June 30 to stock up.
