Featured Performance Artists
For your entertainment pleasure, we are privileged to welcome to the stage a few familiar faces (you may recognize them!) among our world class performance artists
Paul Rudy, Composer
"It takes courage and audacity, perhaps, to write a piece about 'finding equilibrium between the wildness of a mechanized culture and a calm that comes from discovering peace inside one's own spiritual place.' Paul Rudy does just that by juxtaposing recorded sounds ranging from birds to trucks with vigorously scored, often lyrical cello passages...it is a work of real substance. www.paulrudy.com
Sandra Hughes & Michael Hickey - Mime, Masks, Music, Dance combine to create mesmerizing performances. Sandra and Michael studied with Marcell Marceu and have toured worldwide. In addition to being fabulous performers they play an important role in consciousness transformation. They spent 6 years working in Belfast to help bring about peace. Their efforts led to a memorial service where all sides came together to grief collectively and for the first time recognizing each other's grief - peace came about.

Wendy Anne McCarty is presenting at ISSSEEM 2010 conference, June 27: Evidence-based Spirituality at the Beginning of Life: Timeless Wholeness for Everyone
Our Multidimensional Wholeness: What Babies are Teaching
By Wendy Anne McCarty, PhD, RN, DCEP
Our Western notions about babies are outdated. They have never told the whole story. The Newtonian lens used limited our perceptions and conceptions to babies as biological beings who develop consciousness over time. Unfortunately, we have discovered how this narrowed view limited our avenues of meeting and caring for babies with life-diminishing effects. We need to and I believe we are ready to evolve our notions and practices.
Understanding our multidimensional nature at the beginning of life has been the focus of prenatal and perinatal psychology (PPN) for decades. Clinical stories of all ages-newborns, infants, children and adults-reveal innate transcendent (non-local) as well as human awareness, capacities, and needs as we enter human life.
Findings from prenatal and perinatal psychology reveal we are so much more-we are consciousness with access to non-local information and have innate intuitive perception and mind-to-mind communication abilities. We actively seek and thrive on connection, relationship, and being included as a full consciousness. This multidimensional lens expands our understandings of what is happening during our earliest development and how we can best support consciousness to optimize their connection with SELF and human potential.
ISSSEEM community members seek greater understanding of yourself and others based on consciousness, quantum physics, and energetic components. In my clinical experience, I have found when we meet babies as conscious, aware multidimensional beings and we help optimize or repair as elegantly as possible with energy psychology and energy medicine, they show us more of what is possible within ourselves. These children are grounded, embodied, empathetic, creative, natural communicators, intuitive, and resilient-each in their own unique way. To learn more about the multidimensional lens of babies and how to support their human potential, three publication references are included. I invite you to attend my presentation at the ISSSEEM conference.

The Emerging Science of Subtle Energy by Scott Anderson, M.D. In my nearly 2 decades as a member of ISSSEEM, I've learned that when people use the phrase "science of subtle energy" (SSE), they are generally referring to one or more of the following lines of evidence More
Arkgnosis - Dr. Andrija Puharich added by Charles Tart, Ph.D. In the summer of 1957, ISSSEEM President for 2009-2010, Charles T. Tart, then a student at MIT, had a summer job as a research assistant to Dr. Andrija Puharich at the latter's Round Table Foundation, in Glen Cove, Maine. The Foundation closed shortly afterward for lack of research fund support.
This document is a lab work report given by Puharich to Tart at the time, probably distributed to just a few grant supporters, but never published to our knowledge. More

Secrets in the Field: The Science and Mysticism of Crop Circles by Freddy Silva NOTE: a new film by Freddy will be featured in the Art Installation, 'Evidence of Our Devotion' Altar at the Conference Bookstore
Silva, who has worked in graphic design and advertising for most of his professional life, conveys his keen passion for earth mysticism in this probing examination of crop circles. He examines the history of crop circles, human interactions with them, their probable implications, and, in a section that is alone worth the price of the books for supporters, their effects on our current worldview. Silva also delves deeply into the evidence for crop circles' authenticity. In arguing that they are transhuman events, he discusses the role of electromagnetism and its effects, UFO phenomena and their relation to crop circles, the relationship between crop circles and healing, evidence supporting psychic ability, and language's ability to affect information consciously and subconsciously (this section is sure to stimulate those who suspect that crop circles are a hoax). Readers may be inspired to reexamine preconceived ideas, as Silva's explanations are detailed and well researched and avoid technical jargon. Footnotes and an extensive bibliography encourage further exploration.
The Healing Power of Energized Water: The New Science of Potentizing the World's Most Vital Resources by Ulrich Holst An introduction to the biotechnologies of water vitalization
Reveals the deeper secrets of the element water including its memory
Shows the practical applications founded on the work of such pioneers of water research as Viktor Schauberger, Theodor Schwenk, and Masaru Emoto
Looks at water dynamization devices currently available commercially
Water is more than the simple liquid evoked by its scientific name H2O. The discoveries by pioneering figures like Viktor Schauberger and Masaru Emoto have shown that this essential substance is much more complex than originally believed. Water is incredibly sensitive to the micro-information from the surrounding environment and it also possesses a memory. Unfortunately, many of the modern techniques for making water readily available have resulted in depreciating its vitality. Many of the benefits that water can provide when in its optimum natural state have been lost.
But there are now methods that have been perfected over the past several decades that can transform our banal tap water back to its natural potent state as the elixir of life. Experience has shown that these methods and devices can even transform water that has been heavily polluted by agriculture or industry into a potable fluid that looks like the product of a limpid mountain spring. Tests show that no trace of the pollutants remain. Many of these devices are available commercially, offering to all the possibility of enjoying the optimum benefits water can deliver when in its healthy, natural state.

Tranquilista: Mastering the Art of Enlightened Work and Mindful Play by Kimberly Wilson I just finished reading Kimberly Wilson's new book "Tranquilista: Mastering the Art of Enlightened Work and Mindful Play." A cute, quick read with a conversational style. I felt as if I was in a coffee shop with my best friend giving me all her greatest advice. Based on the title of the book I was looking forward to a lot more new agey suggestions rather than some business basics and how-tos. The first section, Mix Mindfulness, gave me hope that I'd be in for this kind of novel treat - Kimberly advises readers to become spiritual creatures with suggestions such as "rock an altar," "find your inner nature girl," and "go totally Tonglen." The second section, Bake in Beauty, gives us permission to connect to our creative side and I suppose some people need reminders to forgo clutter and get your beauty rest. The third section, Decorate with Sprinkles, embarks on a sort of business 101 and just when I was wishing for more inspirational teaching rather than classic advice (trademark your business name, open a business bank account, and the like), Kimberly returns to the promise of the title and writes something like "I encourage you to be abnormal and go the extra mile to take care of yourself, your relationships, your mind, which longs of stretches of play coupled with downtime." Now that's what I'm talking about - a tranquilista is more than an entrepreneur pursuing wealth single-mindedly. When networking, Kimberly advises to "drop in on some meetings and see how the vibe feels." At the end of the book she brought my attention back in. Where the title led me to believe that this was a highly creative book written to inspire and transform the reader, too much conventional wisdom was imparted. But my interest was held because the placement of some great strategic tips that are spread throughout the book. I liked the website suggestions for managing time, creating a press kit, how to give kudos and give back to the community. Very refreshing new book and I'd like to see more of this kind.

SEED Graduate Institute Presents The 12th Annual International Language of Spirit ConferenceA Dialogue Exploring the Nature of Reality from Indigenous and Western Science Perspectives: Time Travel
Sunday, August 15 - Tuesday, August 17, 2010 Albuquerque, NM
The most advanced scientific view has found that in the sub-atomic realm, there are no longer any things: there is only a dynamic flux of process and relationship. This was an astonishing discovery, but it was not new. Indigenous people for millennia have seen the cosmos as a place of kinship - a place of harmony and beauty. Come join us as we explore the beginnings of a new language - a language that is now emerging through dialogues with Native elders, quantum physicists and other Western scientists. Come join us as we explore the connections between the Quantum realm of Energy and the Indigenous Spirit realm. More Info
