Greetings!

lighting torch
Wow!

There are so many moving parts to coordinate and everything is fueled by the excitement that pervades the time leading up to our 20th Anniversary Conference in June.

If you haven't been feeling it yet, it's because I haven't told you about much of it as yet.  Well, here goes:

In this issue, you'll notice that opportunities to exhibit and advertise are now posted on the web.  Exhibitors have until March 15 to take advantage of last year's rates.  Advertise in our publications--including eSEEM-- and the conference program at new affordable rates.  Even if neither applies to you, you may know someone who would like to support ISSSEEM and get a message to up to 6000 people who should hear it.  Please take a look and pass this on.

We're excited to have partnered with the Rocky Mountain Cultural Exchange for a juried art exhibition and a conference art installation this year.  See Call for Artists below.

From ancient to present, there is no denying fire symbols and their meanings: heat up our hearts, move our bodies, quicken our minds, and lift our spirits. We symbolically light the torch, to be felt around the world, as registration begins early March. Look for another announcement when registration information becomes available.

Part 3, Questions of Consciousness: Psychic Healing, a video series by Charles Tart is included in this eSEEM. You can view the first 2 at the link provided. Thank you Charlie for providing this lead up to Conference.

Looking forward in a big way!

Blesses,
Denise

TargDo You See What I See? Memoirs of a Blind Biker
 by Russell Targ

Lasers and Love, ESP and the CIA, and the Meaning of Life
"Russell Targ is a pioneer, a character trait he has demonstrated in fields as diverse as laser physics, parapsychology, and windshear physics. It is the essence of his nature. Thus, it is not surprising that he has led a fascinating life, and his biography takes the reader on a wonderful tale of discovery. If you have an interest in how the new comes into being, Do You See What I See? will reward you bountifully with the kind of stories that bring science to life and show it as the extraordinary adventure those who live it know it to be."  Stephan A. Charm CarverThe Charm Carver
 by David Shuch

The Charm Carver feels like poetry or elemental folk tales. Madeline, a wise, old woman, speaks of the time in her youth spent in the presence of Simon, a charm carver. But Simon's charms are not trinkets or jewelry but keys to open hearts.  Simon reveals a higher love and shows healing as the ultimate quest for those who can hold a strong inner wish. Simon comes as a healer of souls but only for those who have come to even faintly sense their inner state of brokenness. The Charm Carver is the perfect gift for any meaningful occasion, and is meant for any reader in search of inspiration.

Research in Energy Psychology
Poster Session Submissions Accepted

2010 International Energy Psychology Conference
June 4 & 5, 2010
San Diego

We are soliciting poster presentations in the fields of Energy Psychology and Energy Medicine for our 2010 Conference. Energy Psychology is a new branch of psychology which is researching the human subtle energy system, consisting of the acupuncture meridians, the chakra system, and the human biofield. It is theorized that these energetic systems, in part,  form the foundational matrix underlying human thought, emotions and behavior. It is a sign of the growth and development of this field that this will be our first research poster session.

Poster presentations may include current or proposed research studies (exploratory studies, single-subject or group case studies, or randomized controlled studies), reviews of current research, presentation of new techniques, and/or discussions of theoretical issues, in the fields of Energy Psychology and Energy Medicine. Presenters will receive the standard presenters' discount, and psychology students are encouraged to submit proposals.

For details, poster specifications, and to submit an application:
John Freedom, Chair, ACEP Research Committee,
research_committee@energypsych.org

For conference information, see www.energypsych.org.
Application deadline is March 15, 2010.
