The Neurobiology of Nurture and the Restorative Response of the Quantum Heart

The rhythms of our hearts are meant to help us synchronize with the rhythms of our planet. Learning to understand the intricacies of information carried in these rhythms can help us intentionally activate the full potential of our quantum hearts-potential that has vast implications for personal health, social well-being, and planetary evolution.
Our hearts have tremendous healing capacities that we are just learning to understand and tap into. Some of the pathways through which the heart may wield its healing alchemy include epigenetic, hormonal, rhythmic, and biophoton. When activated, the healing capacities of the heart affect all regulatory process and produce key anti stress hormones that have broad potential for healing across the life span. These hormones assist in tissue regeneration, diminish pain sensation and promote social learning.
We can feel the change in our psyches and our bodies when we are in nature dominated landscapes where beauty abounds. In those pleasure filled moments, we feel in our hearts and know at the core of our beings that we are part of something much larger. The feeling tones we experience while in these settings are similar to the feeling tones we experience while in states of nurture, love, or appreciation. Both are particularly potent activators of the health-enhancing potentials of the heart. Our ability to receive and embody nurture and pleasure is foundational to our ability to orchestrate and sustain physical, emotional, and relational health and well-being.
One of the most fascinating aspects of quantum biology is the information it imparts regarding the biophotons that are emitted by living systems. Biophotons are thought to be the medium through which the liquid crystalline collagen matrix of our cells instantaneously communicates and coordinates body wide functions. Our hearts, being the powerful electromagnetic generators that they are, may also be the strongest emitters of light in the body - with yet undiscovered capacities to affect positive and body wide change.
Optimally these healing capacities of the heart are programmed in early infancy when it is a baby's "job" to take in nurture and embody pleasure. When, for a variety of reasons, this initial pleasure/nurture connection is interrupted or not fully activated, the autonomic nervous system, central nervous system and all regulatory processes are heavily impacted and can remain so across the life span.
If we look at our larger world culture, it is evident that the adaptation to stress has been a most successful and dominant one. We have become masters at war games of fight and flight, adept at creating an internally generated dominance of adrenaline and cortisol. We, as a culture are in need of a new adaptive strategy, a richer epigenetic legacy - one that accesses the quantum potential of a more fully activated heart.

THE REINCARNATION EXPERIMENT
The Reincarnation Experiment 
is a unique, independent, and volunteer effort to focus scientific principles on the millennia-old belief in reincarnation. Colleagues use their particular expertise to evaluate areas of empirical evidence that suggest an indirect, but inherited past-life legacy may shape each person's psychophysical development. At this time our focus is only on cases with past-life clues that can be corroborated through biometric or DNA matches, verifiable memories and behaviors, and third-party assessments of personality factors and documented biographies. People with intriguing cases based only on clues that cannot be validated by a third party should not submit without prior agreement. We are sorry to set limits, but our current caseload requires prior screening.
