December 2008
Greetings!

Amid full and filling lives, an ache for quiet arrives this time of year.  Whether or not you're blanketed by a wintery wrap of white, the season still beckons us inside to the warm, friendly and familiar.  A promise of sanctuary away from the harshness of the weather, unsettling economic volatility and world affairs bids us follow the pattern revealed in nature, inward to rest and restore.  May love, peace, and joy be where you hang out in the coming weeks.  May you be filled up with this love, peace and joy and a renewed sense of strength and resilience as we open the door on a new year creating the work we are about.

Enjoy a new column this issue: Bulletin Board.  Here we'll be sharing what is happening with ISSSEEM leaders and members.  We want to create a buzz around issues, practices and explorations that benefit our world.  Attention to and potential connections between people and projects angle us toward that tipping point!  Share relevant news about yourself and your work by responding to this newsletter with your email update.

A new book by Mark Macy is out this month.  See New Reads below.  Learn more about the amazing work Mark does in the next issue of Bridges Magazine, just one of the provocative articles in the new issue that Editors Celia Coates and Lucia Thornton will have in your hands soon to enrich your mind and spirit.

We have two more Journal issues published!  Thank you, Editor Berney Williams for ushering several splendid papers through the peer review process to create the synthesis that is issue 18.3.  Guest Editor, Debra Alford, elegantly brought together selected addresses from our 2008 conference.  She delved deeply into the inspiring material and worked with presenter/authors to expand upon their conference talks.  Discover the remarkable energetic expertise contained in the 19.1 issue for yourself.  Available now.

We're happy to announce a new 'non-local' Independent Exploration Group that is organized around the topic of Theoretical Framework.  Scott Virden Anderson and Garvin McCurdy are bringing you this great opportunity to participate.  Contact our office if you'd like to have a copy of the guidelines for starting your own IEG -- the focus can be either locale or topic thanks to our growing virtual capabilities.

There is much more going on behind the scenes of ISSSEEM as we prepare for the incredible 2009 conference.  We are here to serve our members as a forum and resource.  There are many longing to better understand, further investigate, and learn to apply the energies of consciousness. Please forward this newsletter to your friends and help to spread the word about ISSSEEM.  Contact us to participate even more.

I remain active in teaching several courses at Holos University.  My most exciting work is demonstrating that the RejuvaMatrix  leads to regrowth of telomeres at 3.4 % within a year, compared with the usual shrinkage of 1% per year.  I will be presenting this at the Anti-Aging Congress December 14.  I will also be presenting at the NICABM conference in December. I am currently awaiting lab results on DHEA and testosterone increases with vitamins D 3 and K 2.  I have several research papers in preparation.  And am hoping to finish 2 new books in the next year,
My DVD MEDICAL RENAISSANCE--THE SECRET CODE  is receiving great attention with a series of webisodes www.MedicalRenaissanceSeries.com

The wars in Iraq & Afghanistan have a personal face at Ft. Hood, Texas, home of the 1st Cavalry, 4th Infantry Division and dozens of other US Army units. I have now spent a year in the trenches of military mental health services, using everything I have ever learned in a long clinical psychology career to assess and treat soldiers with post-concussion syndromes and post traumatic stress disorder. What a rewarding challenge!

For the first time in 25 years, I am not the boss, managing programs, people, budgets and insurance companies. I get to come in every morning, see "my" soldiers and do pure clinical work 8 hrs a day. The world is a circle - I was doing the exact same job for the US Air Force during Viet Nam (in a blue uniform instead of cowboy boots) as a newly graduated clinical psychologist 38 years ago. I still love it.

There are lots of other "closet mystics" here too -  Energy Psychology 'tappers', energy workers, CAM practitioners - all doing healing work with soldiers as a part of their professional clinical roles. Sher & my living room is the local woo-woo salon and energy headquarters. I am staying for at least another year,  so come visit Texas, y'all...

Living Your Soul's Purpose
by Mary Hammond MA LPC

In this book, answers to the questions: Why am I here? Who am I to be with? What is my ideal career? How am I to take care of myself? Why was I born into my family? How am I to serve my community and the world? Clear the energy blocks to discovering your soul's purpose- why you are on this planet now! Following the guidelines for healing in this book you will quickly find yourself in the energy flow of spirit's guidance. Throughout Mary's work as a therapist with people with chronic emotional/mental or physical illness she noticed a trend. Those that got completely well and had little or no need to return for treatment were living passionately-particularly in the areas of relationship, career and service to the community. Thus, when they had completed their work on anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other chronic illnesses or issues, she asked them if they would be willing to continue to work a bit longer. on their soul's purpose. Complete wellness demands living your passion. In this groundbreaking book you will discover the process, Dynamic Energetic Healing, an energy psychology model, with specific strategies to achieve your goals and dreams.

THE PROJECT: the past, present, and future of Humanity
by Mark Macy

just finished writing the book I believe I came to this lifetime to write.

It encapsulates what I've gathered from around the world (before 1990, when I was working with many brilliant people on world affairs) and from beyond this world (since 1990, when I was collaborating with many good hearts on both sides of the veil on technical spirit communication). The book will be published in January 2009, and it's called: "THE PROJECT; the past, present, and future of humanity." Subjects include . . .

. . . Where we humans came from long, long ago, probably much longer ago than most of us would believe possible, based not just on HARD SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE such as fossils and argon-argon dating of moon rocks, but also on SOFT EVIDENCE - - legends, biblical passages, ancient histories (by Plato, for example), and well-thought-out modern speculation (Cremo, Sitchin, van Daniken, Velikovsky . . .). And my favorite evidence of all: ITC* MESSAGES, especially the mind-boggling information we received from ethereal beings between 1995 and 2000 (which to me is impeccable!).

. . . Why we are today whom we are - - why we have a NOBLE SIDE that yearns for a life of order, good will, and wise stewardship of Planet Earth, and a SAVAGE SIDE that pulls us into dramas and adventures in social systems and ecosystems, driven largely by our fears, cravings, and animosities . . . how these two parts of us originated long ago, and how we all have to contend with them . . . and how this inner conflict between the noble side and savage side has boiled over into dramas throughout history within and among societies . . . manifesting as athletic contests, casinos, stock markets, and wars, for example.

. . . And finally, what we can do as INDIVIDUALS (everything from meditation and prayer to brain implants and, whoa, genetic engineering???), as SOCIETIES (includes a new, boiled-down economic theory that could solve most serious world problems - - don't believe it 'til you see it :-)), and as A SINGLE PLANETARY SPECIES (including a big change in the United Nations!) . . . all with the aim of fostering our noble side while enjoying the adventure our savage side craves, only trying to do that in nonhurtful ways, for gosh sake!
I doubt if anything else I write in this lifetime will be as important as "The Project."

As always, many warm wishes!
Mark Macy

The First Principles:  A Scientist's Guide to the Spiritual
by John Joseph Petrovic

Dr Petrovic offers a rare and invaluable perspective on the philosophy of science, spirituality, and the ever increasing, blurred boundary between the two. Petrovic grapples with big ideas and weighty concepts, but brings them down to earth in the form of three basic axioms, elegant in their simplicity, and profound in their implications. The First Principles: A Scientist's Guide to the Spiritual does not take a purely intellectual approach to science and spirituality, far from it. Petrovic expands his well formed and scrupulously shaped arguments into a personal and actionable philosophy, that if applied to daily life, can deepen one's personal relationship with the "Wholeness" that so many call God. Told with compassion and written with the non-scientist in mind, The First Principles: A Scientist's Guide to the Spiritual teaches a new way to understand the beauty and elegance of science and spirituality.

About the Author
Dr. John J. Petrovic is a scientific consultant and retired Fellow of the Los Alamos National Laboratory. He obtained his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in Materials Science from Case Western Reserve University. During his thirty-year tenure at Los Alamos, he held numerous positions in the Physical Metallurgy, Materials Processing, Ceramics, and Materials Structure-Property groups. Prior to joining Los Alamos, he spent three years at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a Materials Scientist/Air Force Officer. He is a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society and a Fellow of the American Society for Materials International. He has published two hundred scientific papers and holds eleven U.S. patents.

Crystal Cave of Giants: biggest crystals in earth

NAICA GIANTS CRYSTALS - slideshow

Jack Stucki shared this piece. Written by David Yarrow of Turtle Eyeland Sanctuary

One thing that gets my attention is the heat inside these crystal caves.  radiation detectors indicate these crystals are emitting a lot of fairly long wave energy = heat.  this energy is generated from the radio frequency oscillations and vibrations of the atomic arrays of the crystalline matrix.  these crystal caves must be very noisy with RF electromagnetic waves -- and apparently these huge crystals are long enough to emit longer wave infrared radiation.

So, the crystals are transducing energy from higher to lower pressure.  very long pressure waves in the skin of the planet are transmitted as high frequency vibration in these massive molecular alignments that are grow in tension spanning open voids in the dense bedrock.  and i believe these crystal cavities are commonly filled with water, which is, after all, the solution -- the medium for moving molecules around in order to grow those crystals.  drain away the water and the crystals stop growing, and their pitch of vibrations changes.

A final reflection: these deep cavities are acted on by streams of geomagnetic and solar ion flux that pour into and through the planet.  interactions of the geomagnetic bubble with the solar wind of charge has billions and billions more power than all man-made electric grids.  the entire planet is a gigantic dynamo -- an electromagnetic generator -- spinning in space in its magnetic bubble, charged by pulses of ions erupting from the sun.

Deep in the body of the earth, in watery wombs, crystals are ringing, singing, flowing, growing...

Gravity wave detectors?
