Last Minute FYI's
Weather ~ Colorado weather is unpredictable. Expect highs in the 80s and lows in the 50s with periodic thunder showers. They don't call it the Wild West for nothing!
What to Wear? ~ Casual and comfortable. The Hotel is air conditioned and can get cool. Be sure to wear sunscreen when exploring outdoors and drink more water than usual to acclimate your body to the high altitude. A light jacket or sweater for evenings.
Shuttle from Airport ~ Boulder Super Shuttle departs 10 minutes after the hour from DIA direct to Hotel (5:00AM to Midnight). The cost is $25 one-way.
Restaurant List ~Look for a list of Boulder restaurants in your registration packet that have been recommended by a Friend of ISSEEM.
Registration/ Check in ~ Registration hours are posted in the Program and outside Registration room which is in the Flatirons Conference Room on the Main Floor. Early registration begins Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 PM
ISSSEEM Business Office Closed~ Our Arvada business office will be closed from Wednesday, June 18 through Friday, June 27. All Office Staff will be on location at Conference.

A full four days of conference participation is acceptable for up to 40 hours of Category IIA credit toward The Physician's Recognition Award of the AMA and 4 CE's (40 contact hours) for nurses and other health professionals.
Pick up your packet of validation document(s) and instructions when you check in at REGISTRATION.
Packets are available on-site only. The processing fee of $40 is due when you pick up your packet (nonrefundable). Attendance verification by the session proctor at each available selection is required to be counted toward your total contact hours for the conference.
Attendance at eight available selections will provide a total of 40 contact hours.
Attendance at five of the available selections will provide a total of 30 contact hours.
Attendance at three of the available selections will provide a total of 20 contact hours.
You are responsible to check with your affiliated organization to verify whether the provided CEC's are acceptable by your professional group.

EIH 08~ Part 2: PERCEIVING INFO-ENERGY IN DREAMS: A demonstration of the power of intent
Henry Reed, Ph.D. Director of the Edgar Cayce Institute for Intuitive Studies, is a visionary psychologist whose research has uncovered portals of transpersonal perception. One of the founders of the "dreamwork" movement in the 1970s with his creation of the Sundance dream journals, he was the first to publish research that lay people can make constructive use of their dreams on their own. He has published research on dream incubation, intuition, and the perception of subtle energies. A mandala artist, he blogs daily his "Daily Mandala." He lives on a working goat ranch and drives horses in his Meadowbrook cart.

EIH 15~ SCIENCE & SPIRITUALITY: AN EXPLORATION OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND INTENTION
Dave Kendall studied integral philosophy at the California Institute of Asian Studies (now the California Institute of Integral Studies) in San Francisco in the 1970s. In the 1980s, he completed a masters degree in media anthropology at the University of Kansas and began to produce documentary videos. He currently serves as Executive Producer at KTWU, the public television in Topeka, Kansas. Since 1987, he has served as the host of "Sunflower Journeys," a weekly series exploring the historical, environmental, and cultural dimensions of life in Kansas. He has produced a number of documentaries related to local history and culture, and he recently produced a series entitled "Beyond Theology," which is being distributed to PBS stations across the nation.
Laura Mead is a teacher of meditation and bioenergy work. As a bioenergy consultant and certified bodywork therapist, she maintains private clinical practice in Topeka, Kansas. Laura graduated from the Heartland School of Massage and has completed Master Level Training at the Wirkus School of Bioenergy.
She lectures and presents workshops across the country for many organizations, including The Menninger Foundation, Unity World Headquarters, A. R. E., National Childbirth Educators, and The Institute for Noetic Sciences as well as The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energy and Energy Medicine.
Laura teaches the Wirkus Method of Bioenergy practice. She also teaches meditation and mindfulness techniques to help students attain greater levels of focus, coupled with practices to develop compassion as well as tools to open and enhance intuition. Laura collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals to develop a healthy collaboration of western medicine with complimentary healing practices. Laura has most recently served as creative consultant on the documentary series entitled "Beyond Theology."

EIH 16 ~THE DANGER OF PUTTING TECHNIQUE BEFORE INTENTION IN ENERGY HEALING
David Kopacz, M.D. I am engaged in a private Energy Healing and Holistic Psychiatry practice in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, where I live with my wife, Mary Pat, and cat, Neo. I am interested in the conceptual and practical aspects of the intersection and boundaries of Medicine, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, and Energy Healing work. Currently, I am working on a book on Creating a Holistic Medical Practice. After graduating from the A'claire School for Energy Healing in 2004, I have continued my personal growth by working as a teaching assistant at that school. I am board certified by the American Board of Holistic Medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. For medical school and psychiatric residency I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I developed an interest in trauma and holistic health. I have practiced in diverse clinical settings, including academic, VA, multi-specialty group practice, community mental health, and private practice.

EIH 17 ~HARNESSING THE TRANSFORMATIVE ENERGY OF GRACE
Lori Leyden, PhD, MBA is a public speaker, workshop leader, and psychotherapist. In an 8-week sequence of transformative life events including leaving her home, marriage and business of 14 years, two emergency surgeries, and a near-death experience she received a new level of work called The Grace Process (TGP). Dr. Leyden has been featured in PBS's Healthy Living Series, 100+ radio and television shows, and numerous magazines and newspapers. As a Diplomate of the American Psychotherapy Association, she was the first Spirituality Columnist for the association's professional journal, Annals. She is the author of The Stress Management Handbook: Strategies for Health and Inner Peace available in English, Spanish, Arabic and Korean. After working with genocide survivors in Rwanda, she developed TGP, International, a non-profit corporation raising consciousness for personal and global hope and healing. She resides in Santa Barbara, CA.

EIH 18 ~ INTENT, EMOTIONS AND THE MEMORY OF WATER
Beverly Rubik, holds a Ph.D. in biophysics from the University of California at Berkeley. As a frontier scientist, she is internationally renowned for exploring the subtle energies at the Institute for Frontier Science, a nonprofit research center that she founded, in Oakland, CA. Her main area of focus is the biofield, and her research has been supported by NIH grants. She has published over 80 papers and 2 books. Dr. Rubik presently serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Alternative & Complementary Medicine, and Integrative Medicine Insights. She is a core professor in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences in the Graduate College at Union Institute and University, and part-time professor in Integrative Health at Saybrook Graduate School. She is a consultant on maverick health and wellness products and serves as a holistic health practitioner to clients at Health Medicine Center in Walnut Creek, CA.

EIH 19 ~ THE EFFECTS OF INTENTIONAL WILL IN THE LABORATORY AND IN LIFE
Lisa Tully, Ph.D., has a medical research
background in neuropharmacology and molecular
biology with several publications.
Since leaving academics, she has become interested
in bridging western and alternative
medicine. She currently performs research
consulting to help companies obtain clinical
trials to support marketing claims. Dr Tully
also evaluates innovative health technology for companies
searching for products to market, with an emphasis on vibrational
medicine. She is working with Lynne McTaggart to coordinate
intention experiments in the US with a particular
interest in remediation of environmental toxins that affect our

Elizabeth A. Rauscher received her B.S.,
M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of California,
Berkeley, in Nuclear and Astrophysics.
She was a staff researcher at
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory,
Berkeley, for over nineteen years and taught
at Berkeley, Stanford, J.F. Kennedy University
and the University of Nevada. She has
also worked on the NASA space shuttle and
has been a delegate to the United Nations on long term energy
sources. She holds three US patents with Dr.William l. Van
Bise. The meaning of life, existence, truth and reality and the nature
of consciousness are her main interests. She has researched
psychic phenomena and psychic healing for over thirty years and
has published four books and over 250 papers. One of her major
intentions is to bring the spiritual and physical together.
