Two of our Board of Directors
 
Dr Steve Fahrion and Dr Paricia Norris were invited to present at the 12th Annual Biofeedback Foundation of Europe Meeting held at the University of Salzburg, Austria, February 19-23, 2008. The theme was Holistic Approaches to Health, and it was very widely covered by a truly international group of presenters from Turkey, Italy, Greece, Poland, Russia, Mexico, Germany, Austria, British Isles and the U.S., among many others. Biofeedback is thriving in Europe!
Patricia gave an invited Keynote Address on the importance of thermal biofeedback. Steven and Patricia presented two full-day workshops, on Biofeedback Techniques for Recovery from Substance Abuse, and on Psychoneuroimmunology: Empowering Healing in Cancer Patients with Visualization, Imagery and Biofeedback. A highlight of the Conference was a Gala Dinner at the famous Salzburg Castle, opened for the occasion.
Unexpectedly, and much to their surprise, Steven and Patricia each received a Lifetime
Achievement Award presented by the President of the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe, Erik Peper, for their lifetime contributions to research and clinical treatment.
