 Continues
Dr. Brem's study to determine if having Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) together with routine screening mammograms is more sensitive to detecting breast cancer in women with dense breast tissue is still ongoing.  If you would like to participate in this study, please contact Dr. Brem's office at 202-741-3031.  For more information on this study please log onto www.bremfoundation.org.  You and your insurance will be billed for the mammogram, there is no cost for the ultrasound scan.

Poker Run to Benefit Brem Foundation 

Thank you to the ladies of the OFB Club (Old Forgetful Broads) who sponsored a Poker Run Fundraiser to benefit Brem Foundation on Oct.OFB Club Fundraiser 2, 2010.

 

The gorgeous 70 degree fall day was a perfect setting for the fabulously organized event that raised $4,030!!  The winning hand received $630 of which he donated $620 the Foundation.  

     

With five restaurant locations that were stops along the run, the OFB ladies and participants brought attention and interest to breast cancer awareness and Brem Foundation throughout Charles County, MD and King George, VA.

Biopsy Fund Update 
With your help, Brem Foundation continues helping women in need with necessary breast biopsies andwomen diagnostic procedures through the Biopsy Fund.   $62,000 has been paid by the Foundation in 2010 YTD thanks to your donations.
