 The lesson I learn from trees as I watch their  leaves drop so effortlessly  is to JUST LET GO!!!
 We have all heard of this saying. I didn't know what I needed to let go of as we headed to North Carolina for the Yearly Tree Climbing Rendezvous. By the end, we laughed so hard our faces hurt. That is what it feels like to be up in the canopy of trees. You let everything go, your worries, your problems....everything dissolves. As Bob Wray who hosted this years event says "As your altitude changes so does your attitude." Being in nature, communicating and connecting with the trees is part of my life now. I can be in the worst mood and have it all taken away by 5 minutes spent in nature.
 
When you are so busy and stay caught up in your mind life seems narrow, you get short, and we forget about being of the heart. What I observed first hand is all the hearts that were rejuvenated at the Rendezvous easily and effortlessly without trying....everyone just let go as they climbed ,experienced community, and connected. Laughter rang through the forests as we all played! What did I need to let go of? Everything....working to hard, trusting the Universe, trusting we are on the right path....I had to let go of more and more  as each climb presented itself and by the end I felt so much lighter physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  (Physically 5 pounds to be exact)
