The Executive Board approved $41.9 million in PSRC federal funding for priority projects in the region.
These funds came available due to higher than estimated allocations from the region's two Federal Highway Administration's funding sources. In addition, a share of the funding is from previously funded projects that could no longer use the funds. The projects were selected from a contingency list approved previously by the Executive Board. Descriptions of the funded projects are available at psrc.org.

The designation procedures will apply to new regional growth and manufacturing industrial centers, and will help ensure that new centers will be successful in achieving the VISION 2040 regional growth strategy. The Executive Board is scheduled to take action on the updated procedures in September 2011. Watch the presentation online at psrc.org.
