Order Your Yard Signs Now Child Abuse Prevention Month yard signs will be two-sided (as shown below), and you can order yard signs at this link. Deadline for ordering is February 28, 2011.
Posters Accompany Yard Signs. Give Your Input! The brief message of the yard signs makes people wonder how do we help children and how does helping children help us all? AND what can we do? To answer these questions, we are also creating printable posters (sample shown here) available for April that our partners throughout the state can post everywhere. We want your ideas for printable posters! Send them to Priscilla Bennett at pbennett@pcamn.org. What would you like your poster to say? |

Connie Retires! | |
After nine years as Executive Director of Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota, and a 40-year carreer serving Minnesota children and families, Connie Skillingstad has retired as Executive Director at PCAMN effective December 31, 2010. We celebrate her many accomplishments and look forward to the exciting things she willl be doing after she "retires." Watch for details soon about a retirement celebration we are planning.
Anyone who knows Connie well knows that the quotes around "retires" acknowledge that she will still be working hard to make Minnesota communities better for children an all of us. In fact, in this first phase of her retirement, Connie is contracting with PCAMN to assist with fundraising, so for the next three months or so you can still reach her at cskillingstad@pcamn.org and 651-523-0099.
As of January 1, Becky Dale has stepped into the role of Interim Executive Director which she will hold until a new Executive Director is hired in the next few months. You can reach Becky at bdale@pcamn.org and 651-523-0099.
We are accepting resumes and cover letters for the Executive Director position through January 31. Full details are at our website, www.pcamn.org. |
