| Volunteer Needed |
Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota is looking for volunteer office assistants in our Circle of ParentsŪ program for approximately two to four hours per month. Responsibilities include:
- Photocopying documents
- 3-hole punching of documents
- Putting folders of materials together
- Using a postage machine to apply metered stamps
- Folding newsletters, stuffing envelopes, and applying labels
We offer a fun working environment, the option of references for future employment, and unending gratitude for helping us out!

| Circle of ParentsŪ |

We offer free community-based support groups for parents and children. A program of Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota, Circle of ParentsŪ is a statewide network of parenting support groups open to all families throughout the state. During weekly meetings, parents come together to exchange insights into common parenting challenges and celebrate successes. PCAMN has been generously gifted with 32 collector dolls (many Victorian). They range in value from $20 to $200 and are now available to the public. Call for Entries: The Minnesota Office of Justice Programs in partnership with the Minnesota State Arts Board invites entries for an exhibit of visual art and literature. The exhibit is in recognition of the 2009 National Crime Victims' Rights Week, April 26-May 2, 2009. The application is posted at www.arts.state.mn.us/aor. The due date for submissions is January 23.
Day on the Hill with the Joint Religious Legislative Commission is February 3, 2009. Preparation will be at the River Centre starting at 8:30 a.m. Participants will bus to the capital and meet with legislators. Registration fee is $30 and morning keynote speaker is Dr. Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America. If interested, visit JRLC's website at www.jrlc.org for more information.
