In honor of
WOMEN'S EQUALITY DAY
(August 26) we are bringing AMY SIMON's One Woman Show SHE'S HISTORY (The Most Dangerous Women in America - Then and Now) to San Diego on

AUGUST 27th.

Why Do We Know More About Lindsay Lohan Than Abigail Adams?????

When her ten-year-old daughter came home from school one March stating she was planning on doing her women's history project on Cher, Writer, Performer, Cultural Herstorian Amy Simon knew something needed to be done!

Using theater, history, multi-media, lots of audience interaction, treats, and good old-fashioned story telling, She's History! is chock full of stories, scenes and revelations; true tales of fabulous females, then and now.

Going back and forth from the past to the present, poignantly and comically (her trademark) our Modern Mom finds the funny as she struggles with raising girls in today's challenging world.

Watch Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony multi-task - just like today's mom - running the house, fixing dinner and corralling the kids, all while working on the Fourteenth Amendment.

See and hear Bella Abzug, Shirley Chisholm and Sojourner Truth, Maria Shriver, Eleanor Roosevelt and Golda Meir, Bloomers, Suffrage, Maternal Profiling, Seneca Falls, Abolition and more!

Honoring Female America.

From the mom who brought you

Cheerios In My Underwear

which holds the record as the longest running solo show in Los Angeles....

From Diane Gage Lofgren and Margaret Bhola, creators of this project:

"We are so excited about our partnership in promoting women and their power. Women I Want to Grow Old With is all about women being intentional in friendship and in causing a life of vitality and fulfillment.

SHARE the blog www.womeniwanttogrowoldwith.wordpress.com with your friends and personally invite them to comment and sign up to be notified as to future blogs.  This conversation is so important and I know we all get busy and often leave good intentions on the back burner. Visit our Facebook Page women i want to grow old with

We are committed to having tens of thousands of women sharing their hearts and education with each other.

But most important, join us September 1st at 5pm at the Women's Museum and be part of our interactive discussion and video taping as we kick off the book project around San Diego and the World!"
