Before February comes to an end, we invite you to take advantage of the best weather in the nation and celebrate A Day at the Bay in Chula Vista. At the end of the month, put on your creative side for an "Open Mike Nite" as we share stories, music and poetry which reflect our Black History in San Diego.  And then, get ready to honor our very own, Judy the Beauty.

"Our Bay-Our Lives-Our Future"
A BIG Event for Chula Vista and the South Bay.

Booths, Speakers and Performers all day long next to the J Street Boat Launching Ramp at Bayfront Park.

Performers:
- Running Grunion Performance by Abel Silvas,

- He Nani O Polynesia Dance,
- The Fremonts, a 50's and 60's Blues Band,
- The Sooran Bushi Dance (Japanese Fisherman Dance) by the Nihon no Soran Gakuen (San Diego Japanese School),
- Michelle Brown shares on Strong Diligence, Navajo sacred teachings passed down from all our relatives-She is Navajo and her clans are Red Running into the Water People and born for the Nearby Water's Edge.
- Chula Vista High School's Ballet Folklorico under the direction of Carlos Santoyo.
