Summer is such a great time to get to know your own backyard. We invite you to come visit the museum this summer during our public hours of noon to 4PM, Tuesday through Saturday. Browse the exhibits and our library of over 4000 books based in and on feminist history, activism and accomplishments. We look forward to seeing you here or at one of our summer events.

Saturday, July 25th at 2pm FINDING THE HUMOR IN ROMANCE - Meet Romance Writer, Mary Leo (Part of our continuing Author Series)
Meet Mary Leo, San Diego resident via Chicago. She writes fun, hip, contemporary stories that are designed to bring a smile to your face.
Her latest release, "Cabin Fever", hit the book stores in February. It's part of the Mediterranean Nights series from Harlequin, and she is thrilled to be a part of it! Cabin Fever is book nine in the series and takes place in the Caribbean onboard the cruise ship, Alexandra's Dream. The story is filled with intrigue, love and laughter, plus a helping of island lust.

Ann-Kaneko's award-winning documentary about four artists creating art and social commentary in Fujimori's Peru.

Ann shot this on a Fulbright in Peru 2001-2002. Ann is Japanese-American and has produced several documentaries. She now lives and teaches film in Los Angeles. The film includes a profile of one female Peruvian artist and one Japanese-Peruvian artist
