February 15, 2pm DECONSTRUCTING GRACE PALEY
paleyWhat made Grace Paley tick?  Kathleen Jones, SDSU Professor Emeritus and author of "Acts of Faith" may know that as well as anyone. Join us as we deconstruct Grace Paley at 2pm on Sunday, Februrary 15th at the museum.  Seating is limited so please call for your resevation. 619 233-7963.
February 28, 2PM - BLACK HISTORY MONTH
 quilt   Reknowned storyteller Alyce Smith-Cooper will weave her tales of magic using the intricate quilts of Jacquelyn Hughes Mooney, a native of New Orleans, a "visual poet", who creates vibrant, jazzy contemporary quilted textile collages, collected by the rich and famous.  As well, Author and Chair of the Black History Studies Department at Mesa College, Starla Lewis with discuss her book and the historical importance of story telling for women in the African-American Culture as we celebrate Black History Month.  Come listen and share your own stories.
March 7, 7:30pm "HERSTORY" ART EXHIBIT Opening Reception 
In honor of Women's History Month the Women's Caucus for Art San Diego will bring a juried art exhibition entitled "Herstory" to the museum space for the month of March.  Join us for the opening on Saturday, March 7th at 7:30pm.  Music, Food, Friends.  Call for more information.619 233-7963
March 12 "ACTS OF FAITH" 10th Avenue Theatre 
Join Museum members for a Champagne Reception at the Tenth Avenue Theatre at 6:30pm prior to the 7:30pm performance of "Acts of Faith" based on the works of Grace Paley.  Make your reservations TODAY!  Seating is limited.
March 12, 6pm  "Fashion, Fun and Philanthropy" at Bloomingdales in Fashion Valley
