Support us  - painlessly!
Slow down?  Recession? Hiatus from spending? Whatever it is, we know these are not the best economic times.  Still the museum's rent, insurance, and office supplies need to be paid and for that we rely on your financial support.  Here are some "painless" ways for you to support us at this time.

- LEGACY CLUB  These members provide sustaining funds by donating a monthly amount.  From $10 to $100 a month goes to our operating expenses.  It's easy to sign up online with your credit card. Or join us on May 24th to learn more. (see "Spring Fling")

- RALPHS Every time you shop with your Ralph's Club card... we share.  Sign in on the Ralph's site

- CARS, BOATS AND PLANES Yes, we can turn your unused and unwanted vehicles and toys into cash for the museum.  Just give us a call 619 233-7963 and we will take care of the rest.

PERMANENT EXHIBIT- Phase 11
Opening Reception - May 17, 2 pm

All Our Grandmothers: Building San Diego:
The Untold Stories

AOGA century ago women were active participants in creating the San Diego we know today.  Sometimes behind the scenes, but increasingly in the forefront of public and community activities, women, like men, created institutions and organizations.  Women were also the primary guardians of family and traditions.  Our permanent Exhibit "All Our Grandmothers" is just a glimpse of how women in San Diego's diverse communities mirrored their sisters nationally by making history - breaking boundaries and building communities.  Please join us at 2 pm on Saturday, May 17th for the Opening Reception of Phase II of this important exhibit, a community partnership with the San Diego Historical Society and the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum.  RSVP to the Women's History Museum at 619 233-7963
