Inaugural Monthly Growing Hope Community Potluck- Join us!

Mark your Growing Hope calendars! The first Thursday of every month, we will host a community potluck in Ypsi. Please join us this Thursday, January 7th from 6-7:30PM at the Ypsi Senior Center, 1015 N. Congress St. Bring a dish to pass-- all ages and everyone is welcome! Locations will vary so check our calendar for next month's hot potluck spot!

It's that time of year again, we're offering our five-session Community & School Garden Development Institute (CSGDI). The Institute will be held Thursday evenings, 6:30-8:30PM, January 21-February 18.
The Institute will cove key aspects of developing, designing and sustaining community, school, and congregational gardens. We have several teams committed, but are willing to squeeze in a few more if you are in touch asap.

Growing Hope Center Tour

Escape the winter blues with a visit to our hoop house, as the fresh aroma of herbs is sure to awaken your senses! The first Wednesday of every month we will host a tour of our Growing Hope Center.
 Come see the progress we're making and learn more about the Center. Check our calendar for exact times.

at the Growing Hope Center 922 West Michigan Avenue, Ypsi for a one hour tour with our Executive Director, Amanda Edmonds, farm manager JP Swanson, and a board member. Please RSVP at info@growinghope.net and bring a friend! Wear appropriate layers and shoes!

Social networking sites have evolved, and while you may be a part of our Facebook Growing Hope GROUP and our Facebook Growing Hope CAUSE, we're transitioning our group over to a new Facebook PAGE. Our GROUP will go away in early 2009. Our CAUSE will stay active as the way to donate to Growing Hope through Facebook (and encourage friends to do the same!)-- and is easily linked to from our new PAGE. Confused?
Here's what to do! 1) Become a FAN of our new Facebook PAGE, and tell your friends & family to do the same! 2) Join up with our Facebook CAUSE if you're not already connected to make a gift before the end of the year, and challenge your friends to do the same. Can you find 50 people who will donate $5? That's $250 and go a long way to helping families grow healthy food!
