Hope's Harvest is the largest annual fundraiser for Growing Hope, Washtenaw County's non-profit organization dedicated to helping people improve their lives and communities through gardening and healthy food access.
Please join us as we celebrate the inaugural Sustainable Community Award to be given out each year during Hope's Harvest. Our 2009 honorees are Arbor Brewing Company and Corner Brewery owners Matt and Rene Greff for their ongoing commitment to Growing Hope, and for their role in helping to strengthen the local economy and support a sustainable local food system.
The Hope's Harvest Dinner celebrates local food and chefs by offering a delicious variety of dishes prepared with harvests from local farms. Many of our favorite area chefs will be creating dishes for this fabulous fall feast using local ingredients. Come to Hope's Harvest and enjoy a robust meal, local wine and beer, live music and our annual silent auction. Hope's Harvest will take place at Growing Hope's urban farm and headquarters-under-development, the Growing Hope Center, located at 922 W. Michigan Ave. in Ypsi.
