Ways You Can Support
Growing Hope
this Season
Make A Financial Contribution Today... and Save A Stamp for Us & You!
Whether $25 or $2500, community contributions are what allow Growing Hope to be the positive presence you know us as in the community.  If you value our providing fresh food access to community members through over 25 partner garden & market sites, bringing economic development to downtown Ypsi through $65,000 in sales to vendors at the Downtown Ypsilanti Farmers' Market this season alone, teaching kids where their food comes from and to be garden-based entrepreneurs, or developing the Growing Hope Center, it's you who is essential in helping us grow.  Please, show your support through a gift today.

If you're also on our snail-mail list, you can save us a stamp by making your contribution online today-- when you do so by this Thursday Nov 20 we'll skip sending you a paper contribution request later this week and save us both a stamp!

Roots & Shoots:
Our Youth Are Growing Through the Winter!
The young entrepreneurs in Growing Hope's Roots & Shoots kelseyprogram may be done with their main season growing and selling at the Farmers' Market, but a few of our youth decided that they didn't want the program to end!  These middle and high schoolers can look back on a successful season of growing veggies for the Market and making herbal hand balm to sell.  They also had the opportunity to share their experience with other budding farmers from around Michigan at the Youth Farm Stand Program's Summer Summit on August 20.   The fewy outh who are sticking on for the winter, working to make their hand balm a year-round enterprise.  Look for it on sale in local retailers soon, or get it at the Ann Arbor Farm & Garden Greens Market on December 4!
