Hoophouse Dreams
are coming true...
Hoophouse InsideYou've heard us talk about it, you may have visited, or you've helped us build a raised bed, plant a radish, shovel gravel, assemble steel, or pull the plastic... We are so very excited to share that our 30 x 96 foot hoophouse is now up and running-- we've got the plastic overtop and are buttoning it up for the winter so our plants can stay warm and growing. We're still putting plastic on the endwalls, building a few more raised beds, transplanting herbs, and adding doors, but there is already much green growth!  Take a look at our flickr site, where we post more pics of GH than you could ever want!  ...or, stop by and visit or help!HoophouseBeds

GHC is transforming thanks to WCC!
The Growing Hope Center is transforming!  Interior demolition started this week to build an accessible bathroom and reconfigure the kitchen!  Washtenaw Community College's Residential Construction Program is a key partner, and their students get to learn a new trade as they serve the community... It's a win-win-win situation, and we're grateful for their support.
