Agencies can afford the overtime
"They already charge high rates to the clients that we serve, and the clients know that what they're being charged is very different from what the people that take care of them are being paid," says home care worker Joan Leah
(and DCA Voices Institute graduate) of agencies that claim they can't afford to pay overtime in a Miami Herald feature.

We can't wait any longer
A National Partnership for Women & Families blog post urges readers to sign our petition  and "remind policymakers that home care workers, their families and the people they care for cannot wait any longer for fair pay."

This is America, isn't it?
"This is America, isn't it? We do some of the most important work a person can do. We are helping to improve human lives, and we cannot even afford to feed our families. That's just wrong," says home care worker (and DCA board chair) Tracy Dudzinski on the Health Care for America Now blog.

Home care is a civil right
Home care is a civil right, but poor wages can make workers hard to come by, says an editorial in The Tennessean.

Family caregivers need reliable help
"One way to reduce stress on family caregivers is to strengthen the paid caregiving workforce," says a MomsRising blog post.
