Lace Knitters
The Lace Knitters Club meets here the first Monday of each month from 6:30-8:00.
The next meeting is Monday Feb 1

The Mid-Michigan Knitting Guild meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month (Sept-May) at 7pm.

Greetings!
Snow's Falling! I still love snow. Looking out the window and seeing all those fluffy white flakes blanketing the ground is just uplifting! Then getting to bring the two pups out to play in the snow is just fun. Robin is the most alive when romping through snow drifts and bouncing across the yard. Then seeing Tosh (who does complain when it gets too cold) stick her head completely under the snow to get a better sniff of the trail she's on.
Then we all get to go inside, to enjoy some hot cocoa and curl up on the couch. Much knitting follows.
During the last few weeks I've been finishing up a sweater for Sam. I'm using Berroco Ultra Alpaca & it's quickly become my favorite yarn. The cables show sharply, the sweater is holding up well under the weight, and it's so soft!
I hope you're all finding some time to relax, knit, and enjoy a cup of hot cocoa...

I can't tell you how many requests I get each month for us to start a sock club. I finally have figured out that I should just listen to all of you and am so glad I did.
Over the last month I've been working with wonderful designers and both big and little yarn companies to get the sock club up and running!
Some of the sock yarns will be the nicest and newest offerings from our favorite yarn companies. Some will be special limited edition colors dyed exclusively for our club.
All the patterns will be exclusive to the club, plus they are designed specifically for the yarn and color of the sock yarn in that kit.
Each kit also includes a variety of bonus goodies!
Kits will be released every other month beginning this May.
Kits can be picked up at Rae's Yarn Boutique or shipped directly to you.
