SUITE New York's Item of the Week: Storage Wars

Storage and organization are daunting tasks we must face on a daily basis.

Horizontals

Japanese designer Shigeru Uchida created the Horizontals storage system in 1999. A modest and beautiful solution for housing objects we cannot live without, Horizontals heeds Uchida’s smart advice that “design is a device to help people live together.”

FK150 Sideboard

The FK150 Sideboard is worthy of storing your most valued treasures. Designed by Fabricius & Kastholm in 1968, the FK150 is a fine example of the designers’ ability to create furniture where form, function and finish fuse seamlessly.

Paperback

According to Oprah, the Paperback bookshelf is “an ingenious way to decorate a small space.” And we must agree! Paperback takes up minimum space and provides maximum style. *Starting March 1 Paperback will be available in a new anthracite finish.

Code

Nana Bambuch designed the Code shelving system in 2007. Inspired by the graphic facades found in modern architecture, Code has a simple outer form which houses four different sized compartments to accommodate items both large and small.
