Mirrors are an easy way to open up a space and amplify light while serving a practical function. The right style can be a transitional piece or add a bit of personality. This week, we chose to highlight a few designs from SUITE New York’s extensive collection of modern and contemporary mirrors.

Rokoko
Nanda Vigo’s Rokoko mirror references the 18th century style, Rococo, which developed as Baroque artists gave up their symmetry and became increasingly ornate, florid and playful. Available in two versions, one horizontal and one vertical, the mirror’s frame is made of water jet cut, transparent extra-light glass. Each version is available in two sizes.

Mirror Mirror
British designer Jasper Morrison recently created Mirror Mirror, a collection of occasional tables and wall shelves. The wall shelves are available in square and rectangular versions. The internal shelves are transparent glass, heat-sealed to the mirror for a seamless edge. All versions come with vertical and horizontal hanging fixtures.

llm
LLM, also designed by Nanda Vigo, is a collection of subtly backlit mirrors. Its divergent frame has an inner band of mirrored glass and an outer band of white satined crystal. A white neon light illuminates and highlights the frame. Available in three sizes, including a full-length mirror.

Bonny
New from Birgit Gammerler, the Bonny mirror is a more natural option and ideal for transitional settings. Available in both vertical and horizontal versions, the frame is oak or walnut and includes a small shelf. The wood comes from 100% sustainable forests and is manufactured using an eco-friendly process.
