QLOCKTWO

Handmade in Germany, the QLOCKTWO describes the current time with neither hands nor numbers, but with illuminated words in statements like “It is ten past ten” or “It is half past two.” 

“As teenagers, we came up with the idea: wouldn’t it be great to have a clock that displays the time like people talk to each other?” says Marco Biegert of Biegert & Funk. “It’s like a friend that tells you the time. It slows you down and makes you feel relaxed.”

QLOCKTWO is made of a polished acrylic glass face with a lacquered body, and supported by eight magnets for an invisible seam. The clock is available in various languages and colors, including a stainless steel version.

Individual minutes are shown via white dots in the far corners of the clock. It also consumes less energy than an ordinary electric clock through its use of LED technology. The LED can be dimmed and the display can be adjusted to a seconds timer for kitchen use.
