A master of understated elegance, Danish design legend Poul Kjaerholm’s work can be found in museums such as MoMA in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Despite humble beginnings as a cabinetmaker’s apprentice, by his death in 1980 Kjaerholm had won many of the design world's most prestigious awards including the legendary Lunning Award and the Grand Prix at the Milan Triennale twice.

Poul Kjaerholm
While his contemporaries often favored wood as their primary material, Kjaerholm worked mainly in steel, exploring its constructive potential as well as the refraction of light on its surface. PK 33
The PK33 reflects Kjaerholm’s exploration of assembly techniques, experimenting with various materials to achieve simplification of structure. Its detachable leather cushion is available in a range grades and colors. Matte chromed-spring steel base.
