SUITE New York's Item of the Week: Lounging in the Great Outdoors

We have that tingly feeling after a week of warm weather. Summer dresses, seersucker jackets and going barefoot are not far behind! This week we focus on outdoor lounges.

Framura Nido

The Framura Nido makes us smile. What could be more fun that curling up on this circular chaise with a great book and mint julep? Its aluminum frame is available in silver or painted white. The outer disc is webbed with orange, green or gray polyester ribbon and can be tilted upward to create a backrest. The central cushion is covered in cotton and treated for outdoor use. Throw pillows are sold separately.

CB-41 Daybed

From the design duo of Craig Bassam and Scott Fellows comes the most elegant teak chaise lounge we have ever seen. The frame is oil finished for luster and longevity. The adjustable back support is oxidized brass. Its removable foam cushion and tufted down headrest are covered in the softest leather. While this lounge seems too special to be kept outside, both cushions can be treated for outdoor use upon request.

Zoe Collection

The Zoe collection is beanbag seating for grown ups! Available in four sizes from the "baby" Zoe to the Zoe Chaise, these comfy lounge pieces are sturdy and supportive. The removable covers are available in water repellent fabrics sewn with mold resistant yarn. The interior lining is also water repellent and filled with expandable polystyrene pearls.

Leaf Chaise

Yet another genius design from Lievore, Altherr, Molina (who also created the Zoe)! This wildly popular chaise is one of three designs in the collection, which also includes a dining and lounge chair. Designed to be aesthetically organic while ergonomically shaped, the Leaf collection is eco-friendly and fully recyclable. Its frame is epoxy-coated in white, green or mocha with optional polyurethane seat pads.
