In Greek mythology, Atalanta was the king's athletic and strong-willed daughter who, unwilling to marry, insisted she would only wed a man who could beat her in a footrace. If he lost, he would be put to death. With the assistance of Aphrodite, Melanion defeated Atalanta and the two went on to a blissful marriage.

Atalante

Like its namesake, the new Atalante sofa, designed by the legendary Jasper Morrison for DePadova, mixes the feminine and masculine, the soft and the firm. A collection of modular pieces that can create an infinite variety of combinations, Atalante's beauty is its versatility.
