Go Green Interns...in Jail? |
Thanks to the kindness of my good friend with the Alameda County's Sheriff's Office, we were able to schedule a tour of a very 'green' county jail in our area on Monday. We saw recycling in numerous locations, solar panels on the roof, a hydrogen fuel cell that was installed in 2006, and a brand new recycled water system in the jail's laundry facility. |
