Westmount Students Get Down & Dirty
Students at Westmount Elementary School in the rural town of Strathmore in Alberta, Canada aren't shy about getting their hands dirty when they get down to the business of going green. The school's green team has rolled up its sleeves to pick up litter on campus and collect trash from a local lake.
Westmount students are eager to tackle any project that helps keep their community clean or furthers their knowledge of how to go green and live clean.

Nominate Your School
We are always on the lookout for creative and innovative Go Green school programs to feature at the Go Green Initiative. We have thousands of schools on our roster, so think hard about what your school is doing that sets you apart from the crowd.
Drop us a note at newsletter@gogreeninitiative.org to tell us why you think your school deserves to be a School of the Week. Be sure to include lots of details about why your program stands out. Don't forget your contact information, both e-mail and phone.
We'll also need photos that tell the story of your Go Green program. We're looking for action shots. Please steer clear of posed shots with kids grinning into the camera. We want pictures with action, spontaneity, excitement and fun. Please keep your photos to 2 MB or smaller.
If your school is chosen, we'll be in touch to gather more info so that we can let the world know how creatively your school has gone green!
