Nominations for the Go Green Initiative's School of the Year 2008 are Now Being Accepted We are now accepting applications for the Go Green Initiative's School of the Year award for 2008 .  This prestigious award will be presented at the International Go Green Earth Summit taking place October 17 - 18, 2008 in Syracuse, NY.  To apply for this award you must fill out a Quarterly Progress Report (QPR) for the period ending June 15, 2008.  The QPR form can be found be logging into the website and then choosing the QPR option from the menu on the left.  If you are not sure how to fill out the report, read the "Website Instructions" listed in the menu options.  If you are not sure how to quantify your results, download the Planning Guide from the top of our website and refer to Appendix B.  If you are not able to quantify your results for some reason, you can still tell us about your school and what you are doing in the "Additional Comments" section of the QPR.  This award is not based on how much you are recycling but on your overall school program.  The more you can tell us about your program in the "Additional Comments" section, the better!  Give us as much information as you can.  Though the report is due June 15, 2008 we will continue to accept reports for several weeks after the deadline as we know the end of the school year can be very busy.  The announcement of School of the Year will be made sometime between mid-July and mid-August.  Everyone has a chance to win this award so get those QPR's in!!!
