Our nation's capital is home to this week's School of the Week. Hope Community Charter School is going strong with their environmental education.
The competition is on for the best slogan and beautification area and the most class recycling. The winners get a pizza party and everyone gets recognized for participating.

If you would like your school to be considered for the "School of the Week", please email Amy Snyder at newsletter@gogreeninitiative.org. Tell us what your school has been doing to Go Green and send along a few pictures of your students "in action." Pictures cannot be larger than 2 MB. We would love to hear from an International school.
Hope Charter Community School is on their way to making a big difference. We can't wait for next year's ideas.
