Congratulations to "Our School of the Week," The Bolles School Bartram Middle School Campus. They are taking on the environment in Northern Florida and doing a terrific job.
The 30 active members of their Environmental Club have maintained a campus-wide plastic recycling program for two years.
Last spring the club sponsored an Earth Day celebration with incredible activities. This year they introduced a Stop Littering program.
The teachers have incorporated the environment in many instructional ways.
Next up for Bartram:
- Cell phone recycling
- A butterfly garden and tortoise preserve
- Campus-wide paper recycling
