2007 Earth Summit
fleece jacketsThe Go Green Initiative is proud to announce that one of our featured speakers at the 2007 Earth Summit is Faber Dewar, star of The Learning Channel's Trading Spaces.

Faber moved to Los Angeles in 1995 and started his hand-crafted furniture business, Alderly Edge, in Venice Beach. He especially tries to work with recycled materials or "architectural salvage."
Recently, Faber has launched two new companies. Zero Impact Packaging promotes sustainable, biodegradable products that will seamlessly replace detrimental plastic packaging and products, without sacrificing price or functionality. Life H20 provides consumers with great tasting water from the snow melts in Yellowstone National Park, in bottles made of a natural, corn-based starch that can be composted, nourishing the soil into which it completely dissolves. All profits from Life H20 are donated to World Partners International, a nonprofit charity that helps third world countries develop accessible, sustainable water supplies.

go green logo This May we celebrate 5 years of growing Go Green success! The Go Green Initiative has expanded quite a bit since our first school in Pleasanton, California, implemented our program in 2002. The Go Green Initiative now has over 500 registered schools, in 37 U.S states, nearly 300 cities, and is in 12 international regions, including Mexico, England, and Africa!  We extend  a BIG thanks to all of our Go Green Schools for their continued support and hard work.
Don't Forget the June 15th Quarterly Progress Reports!
It is almost summer! Before classes let out, don't forget to input the last QPR of the school year. Please remember to NOT use commas when placing your numbers in their appropriate boxes. If you need any assistance with this or have any questions don't hesitate to contact us! We look forward to seeing all that you have accomplished this year!
All schools prepare our children for the future, but Go Green schools prepare the future for our children.
